Welcome to my home page. Incase you didn't know, I was born in Cape Town, South Africa. I am 19 years old, presently studying at the Technion in Haifa, Israel. If you want to see what I look like and how I have changed over the years, you can take a look at my picture page.
My latest news is of course my moving to Israel, which happened May this year. For more information on the process and how I got here, check out the oh my god I made aliyah page. Firstly I'd like to state that I am an active member of Habonim Dror, a Jewish-Zionist-Socialist youth movement striving for better Jews, a better Israel, and a better humanity, which includes an obvious self development I cannot even begin to explain. Check out the link for more info.
I 'm a fantasy addict, my favourite series being the Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan. Some other recommendations include Magician by Raymond E Feist and Pawn of Prophecy by David Eddings. Don't forget to check out the all-time classic "Willow" , a pre-80s movie from George Lucas (Star Wars).
I love mostly alternate/rock, some favourites being Aerosmith, Garbage, R.E.M., Radiohead and also Cranberries , Enigma, Enya, Deep Forrest, etc. When I go out I like hearing house, or trance, but I can manage with dance aswell.
I'm also a big fan of Israeli artists - to name a few: Teapacks, Sheva (Salaam!!), Gaya (Yachad!!), Aviv Gefen, Yehuda Poliker, Arkadi Duchin, Micha Shitrit, Mashina, Shlomo Artzi, Dana Berger, Monica Sex. Some one timers, "Holechet Mimcha" (Sharon Haziz), "Tis'a oti Le'isha" (Igi Vaksman) and "Achake Lecha" (performed by Dafna Dekel).
On the other side of things, I'm also very into altnerative/spiritual stuff. I practice Tai Chi, use homeopathic medicine and acupuncture, meditate, do hypnosis, am getting into Magick and have been trying to Astral Project for a long time. A great site for alot of these things is SpiritWeb.
Sportswise, I work out at home. I swim alot for personal fitness. And I love roller-hockey, but I don't really have anyone to play with anymore :(
BTW, I was born on the 5th of September, 1981,which makes me a virgo.

As I'm sure you've gathered by now I spend alot of time on the Internet, where I'm generally known as "Kinslayer". My operating system of course Linux, running with GNOME/Sawfish. I do still use windows, which has it's very own window thanks to VMWare. Here's an old snapshot of my desktop.
Now that I'm in Israel, I will probably be involved in the Israel Linux User Group (ILUG) which amongst other things does really cool stuff like Hebrew on Linux. (Incase you didn't know, GTK 2 is fully BiDi compliant, i.e. it supports logical hebrew - that means all apps linked to the library will have full hebrew support aswell).

I've been known on all these networks as Kinslayer since 1995. At around the same time, I started an IRC server for #two.rivers, which developed into a great network called DifferNet. What's left of the network is now part of irc.ancients.net. DifferNet is now a commercial ISP run by a friend of mine, GrayWolf, and is still linked to ancients.
